South Loop: Man and woman accused of attacking teenagers who wrote “Biden 2020” at park
Charges have been filed against a man and woman allegedly seen in a video attacking two teenagers who chalked “Biden 2020” on the sidewalk earlier this month in a South Loop park.
Lorena Petani, 64, and Lucio Zapata, 21, are each charged with assault and battery, Chicago police said.
The incident, which performed on November 4 in the Chicago Women’s Park & Garden near 18th Street and Prairie Avenue at around 11:30 a.m., was recorded and posted on Facebook. It was first reported by Block Club Chicago.

In the video, a woman can be seen approaching two 19-year-old women to complain that their chalk message was “insulting.”
“Are we going to have a Trump and the cops war on BLM in a public park?” The woman asked, adding “my husband is a cop too.”
“This is my park,” she said. “I doubt you pay as much as I do [in taxes]. “
The interaction between the two groups intensified and the woman pushed one of the teenagers to the ground. The man pushed the other teenage girl to the ground and hit her, police said.
Police searched the area after the incident but could not find the pair. The teenagers refused medical treatment.
