Self-made millionaire David Castain has launched a travel booking platform
Fearlessness is a muscle waiting to be flexed! David Castin recognizes this fact as he continues to dominate his space in the world as a serial entrepreneur and travel expert. David Castain is the founder of David Castain and associates, Castain Capital Investments, David Castain Foundation, and more recently David Castain Destinations. Thanks to all these conglomerates, Castain was able to make millions thanks to the wise choices of the industry. “Being a competitor in the business world requires taking risk and being adamant about individual goals,” Castain explains. “Success in this area centers on dedication and resilience. ”
His efforts have been recognized by many people, including Harvard University, where he recently spoken.. Castain holds a BA from Howard University, an MA from Georgetown University, and is currently completing his doctorate at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Having achieved the things he had never considered possible so early in life, Castain began to wonder what he would do if money wasn’t an issue. The answer was simple: travel. “I didn’t have a passport until my first year of graduate school and was afraid of planes,” Castain said. Yet determined to see the world, he has now traveled more than 400,000 miles (more than 15 times around the world) in 45 countries. Interestingly, Castain uses his experiences as opportunities to examine and reconstruct international techniques used in demographic marketing segmentation. Then later redesign them into branding strategies for clients. He continues to collaborate with business associates from different industries to learn new things.
His travels inevitably shaped his philosophy of life. Castain has interacted with people from diverse cultures; a feat he does not take for granted. These experiences are what led to the creation of his new company: Destinations David-Castain, an international travel platform that offers suggestions, resources and consulting services to those planning to explore the world. There’s even a feature that lets you book your next hotel, flight, or activity while browsing the site. Castin uses his previous experiences to provide insight and preparation for those who want to experience their own exhilarating adventures in the world’s most interesting and exotic countries.
David Castain’s Global Getaways include trekking in the jungles of Costa Rica; lying with tigers in Thailand; charming royal cobras in Sri Lanka; running with wild kangaroos in Australia; ride a camel in the deserts of Qatar and eat tarantulas in Cambodia, to name a few. Castain believes that “travel is an addiction, a drug that stimulates your mind and allows you to escape the daily formalities of society”. “It releases a surge of dopamine that ignites curiosity, excitement and desire, as you embark on the experience of a lifetime and face the unknown,” Castain explains. He admits that each journey presents new challenges and cautions that you need to be careful regardless of your desire to live a life on the limit. You also need to have your finances and itinerary managed and monitored.
Traveling is planning well. He urges others to research their favorite destination, including expenses to consider. Castain understands that it is imperative to leverage your income and, if possible, to seek the advice of an experienced professional. This is where his expertise comes in. He wants to share his experiences with clients who have a complex desire to make their travel dreams come true.
“There will always be an excuse not to travel, and there will never be a perfect time to pursue your dreams,” says Castain. “For those who grew up in underprivileged backgrounds like me, traveling is not a reality for lack of financial means. While traveling the world can be extremely expensive, it doesn’t have to be. With the right advice, planning and leveraging resources, this can become a reality for anyone.
“Fearlessness is the key to success, in travel, in business and in life,” says Castain. “You have to have an open mindset, ready for new dynamics. “
