Midnight races: Biden secretly flies underage migrants to New York in the middle of the night

Planes full of underage migrants are secretly flown to the New York suburbs as part of an effort by President Biden’s administration to quietly resettle them in the region, The Post has learned.

The charter flights originate from Texas, where the ongoing border crisis has overwhelmed local immigration officials, and have been underway since at least August, according to people familiar with the matter.

Last week, The Post saw two planes land at Westchester County Airport, where most of the passengers who got off appeared to be children and teenagers, with a small portion appearing to be men in their 20s.

IMMIGRATION ACTIVISTS EXIT IN BIDEN ADMINISTRATION DURING PROTEST MEETING: “TURNING POINT”

Westchester County cops stood on their feet as the passengers – whose flights arrived at 10:49 p.m. Wednesday and 9:52 p.m. Friday – got off and piled onto buses.

Some of them were later seen meeting with relatives or sponsors in New Jersey, or being dropped off at a residential center on Long Island.

Post analysis of online flight tracking data suggests that around 2,000 migrants caught after sneaking into the United States from Mexico have arrived at the airport outside White Plains on 21 flights since. August 8.

Records show some of the planes landed between midnight and 6:30 a.m. – when a voluntary curfew is in effect – with two Houston arrivals at 2:13 and 4:29 a.m. on August 20.

The clandestine nature of the operation raises questions about how the White House is dealing with an increase in the number of unaccompanied minors.

The most recent figures from US Customs and Border Protection show that in July and August alone, 37,805 unaccompanied minors were arrested from Mexico, sometimes after being abandoned by professional smugglers called “coyotes”.

A source close to the operation at Westchester Airport said underage migrants usually arrive with backpacks and are transported by bus to places such as the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, upstate. Newburgh and Bridgeport and Danbury in Connecticut.

On Friday evening, a bus left Westchester Airport and hurtled down the Hutchinson River Parkway – closed to commercial vehicles – at speeds above 75 mph before crossing the Throgs Neck Bridge.

At around 12:30 am on Saturday, he stopped in Syosset, Long Island, on the campus of MercyFirst, a nonprofit association sponsored by the Catholic Sisters of Mercy that provides housing and services to “children and adolescents suffering from problems. company, ”according to its website.

The Biden administration presented a plan to restore a border policy that required asylum seekers to wait in Mexico for hearings in the U.S. immigration court. Details were leaked in a court file after a Texas federal judge ordered the policy to resume “in good faith”, having started under President Donald Trump and returned around 70,000 people to Mexico until Biden ends abruptly because he felt it was inhumane. MercyFirst has a contract to provide the federal government with residential services for “immigrant youth,” according to the site.

MercyFirst CEO Renee Skolaski did not return a request for comment.

Later on Saturday, a similar scene began to unfold in Jacksonville, Florida, where numerous flights from Texas landed before continuing on to Westchester – and where The Post saw a Boeing 737-700 land shortly after 10 p.m. at Jacksonville International Airport. .

As local cops stood nearby, a group of 10 to 15 people wearing matching white baseball caps and carrying duffel bags got off the plane and boarded a charter bus near a cargo terminal in sleep.

BORDER PATROL DOCS LEAK SHOWS MASSIVE RELEASE OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS IN US BY BIDEN ADMINISTRATION

After a two-hour drive, the group arrived around 1 a.m. Sunday at the Twin Oaks Academy, a juvenile detention center in the Apalachicola National Forest near Tallahassee, where staff members were waiting to open. a gate topped with barbed wire.

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis expressed outrage at the Post’s findings, with a spokeswoman saying, “If the Biden administration is so convinced that its open border policy is good for our country, why the secret?”

“Why does the Biden administration refuse to share even the most basic information about the illegal resettlement of aliens in communities across our state and across the country?” spokeswoman Christina Pushaw said.

“Washington DC establishes immigration policies that do not affect them, and states – which lack information on migrant resettlement and do not have the power to change federal immigration policy – should pay the price. Biden’s reckless border opening program. “

The Post also saw two buses leaving Westchester Airport on Wednesday carrying around 100 passengers who arrived in a McDonnell Douglas MD-83.

A bus stopped at the Thomas Edison service area off the New Jersey Turnpike in Woodbridge, where the migrants alighted at around 12:45 a.m. Thursday.

Over the next two hours, they were driven away by people who met them there – without anyone appearing to have to show ID to officials overseeing the operation.

THE CRISIS AT THE BORDERS HANGING OFFICIALS AND COMMUNITIES WHICH THE NUMBER OF MIGRANTS CONTINUES TO INCREASE

A woman who lives near the airport told The Post on Monday that a flight arrived there “around 3 or 4 am” that morning “and was shaking the house” and woke her 8-year-old boy. month.

“He woke up last month around 2, 3, 4 because of the noise,” she said.

“I got used to the regular airport noise, but these planes or jets sound different. Lower, more bass. And they arrive in the middle of the night! “

The neighbor also stated that she “can see the airport perfectly from my floor” and noticed “a few buses that say” Out of service “lying around” which are not the usual county buses or airport shuttles.

And she said the airport had recently been “much darker than usual” overnight.

“I liked the way it looked like a small town – blue and white lights,” she said.

“But as of the middle of this summer, they’re all off except for one or two of them on top of the Flexjet hangar… So I guess you can’t see what’s going on.”

SEN. BLACKBURN TOURS BORDER SAYS CRISIS “CANNOT CONTINUE” AS SHE CALLS ON BIDEN TO INTEGRATE

Former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, a Republican candidate for governor, said he learned of the thefts from citizens thwarted by voluntary curfew violations.

Astorino said smaller planes apparently started arriving in April, when he said the flights were not “as frequent”.

When Astorino held a press conference on August 16 at the airport, he said, a flight arrived with passengers who boarded a bus that pulled up near the stairs and partially blocked the view. people who went up there.

Astorino said he spotted at least 50 to 75 migrants, most of whom appeared to be men over 20.

“No one has explained where they are going and who they are,” he said.

“The Biden administration is systematically extending the southern border crisis to communities across the country, often shrouded in secrecy and cloaked in darkness.”

Meanwhile, a spokeswoman for Westchester County Democratic executive George Latimer has tried to downplay the situation as “nothing new.”

“It’s similar when the HHS, under the Trump administration, housed nearly a thousand migrant children in Westchester – without the county knowing or approving it,” the spokeswoman said. Catherine Cioffi in a written statement.

“So unlike now, no one protested.”

The White House insisted on Monday that the flights only carry children and adolescents, and the US Department of Health and Human Services said: “It is our legal responsibility to safely take care of them. unaccompanied children until they can be quickly reunited with an approved parent or sponsor. . “

“Our refugee resettlement office facilitates the movement of children in our care to their families or sponsors across the country,” said HHS spokesperson Jorge Silva.

“In recent weeks, unaccompanied children have passed through Westchester Airport on their way to their final destination to be reunited with their parents or an approved sponsor.”
