‘Idiots’ drinking liters of vodka on Belfast-Malaga flight cause delays for other travelers

Passengers waiting to board a plane from Malaga to Belfast were delayed on Thursday afternoon by a ‘drunken idiot’ who had to be thrown off an inbound flight.
he flight with the ‘disruptive’ passenger departed from Belfast to Malaga around 1pm on Thursday.
The travelers were left waiting in Malaga as police boarded the plane to arrest the culprit when it landed at the southern Spanish seaport.
A Northern Irish man said: ‘I was told there had been a massive wait with passengers held up on the plane and waiting to board stuck at the gate.
“The stewardess said ‘idiots’ drank their own liters of vodka and one of them refused to stop and got violent.
“He refused to go with the cops, so they arrested and roughed him up.”
The incident caused delays for passengers waiting to make the return journey to Belfast.
An easyJet spokesperson has confirmed that flight EZY6757 from Belfast to Malaga on May 26 was met by police on arrival following disruptive behavior by a passenger on board and failure to follow instructions of security.
He added: “EasyJet cabin crew are trained to assess all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure the safety of the flight and other passengers is not compromised at any time.
“The safety and well-being of customers and crew is our top priority.”
EasyJet has come under fire over the past week following a series of flight cancellations.
